Character Creation

Rolling Attributes

You may choose the standard array or roll 4d6 drop lowest. No one has ever actually taken the array.

Race and Class Restrictions

We use classes and races from any published (preferably playtested) source. We have used Unearthed Aracana material as well as third party or homebrew content, but it must be approved by the DM ahead of time. The only limit is keeping things balanced for other players.

Hit Points

Equipment

Magic Items

I generally run ‘high magic’ settings. Common and uncommon items can be found in any large

Magic Item Prices

I’ve created a spreadsheet called D&D Magical Item Prices that includes multiple price lists for comparison.

We are currently using the Discerning Merchants Pricing Guide (DMPG) for magic item prices.

DMPG is itself slowly becoming out of date so I’ve included the DMG pricing ranges, which DMPG mostly tracks.
